A man of Northglen, Colorado won in a freeroll online poker tournament 12,500 dollars World Series of Poker prize package. Ron Brown, 44, who has been playing poker only for three years, will be playing live poker against some of the biggest poker pros in the world at the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas.
Brown, a carpenter of Northglen, Colorado, won the biggest prize in an online poker tournament sponsored by the online poker guide PokerListings.com and the online poker room Pacific Poker. Brown won 12,500 dollars prize package, which includes 10,000 buy-in and 2,500 travel expenses to Las Vegas, where the WSOP Main Event will take place.
Brown has been playing online poker only for the last 3 years usually on a daily. The WSOP package prize was his first major winning. Brown took part in the first out of a series of three freeroll tournaments organized by PokerListings and offers WSOP Main Event prize packages. The second freeroll tournament will be held on June 11 and the third on July 16.
