Richard Howk of Bentoville hopes to participate at the 2006 World Series of Poker. He chose an original way to get there. Richard Howk auctions himself on eBay as an advertisement space.
Richard Howk is not sure which business would pay the 10,000 dollars seat for the World Series. He put the auction up on eBay few weeks ago and got almost 1,500 hits before deciding to take it down. Now he plans to put back the auction with a minimum price of 1 dollar.
The World Series of Poker spokesperson said it is the first time someone auctions himself in eBay in order to buy a seat to the world biggest poker event. According to the competition laws, players cannot wear a logo bigger than six square inches. The laws are not worrying Howk, in the worse case, he jokes, he will tattoo the logo on his thumb.
