The EUROPEAN POKER TOUR Grand Final will take place at the Casino Monte Carlo. This is the largest no limit poker tournament organized by the EUROPEAN POKER TOUR so far and it is expected to become the biggest poker event in Europe.
All players are welcome to take part in this tournament. They can buy their tickets directly at PokerStars.com for 10.000 Euros, or qualify through satellite tournaments, such as PokerStars, where they can win a 16.500 dollars package which includes all expenses and a fabulous stay the Hotel Hermitage, in Monte Carlo.
From the 15 till the 19 the festival features single table and multi-table tournaments running continuously, so will the 10.000 Euros buy-in ETP Grand Final. Thomas Kremser, member of the International Poker Federation (IPF), will be the director of this tournament.

John Duthie, EUROPEAN POKER TOUR founder, assures this Years Grand Final is going to hit the record number of online qualifiers through PokerStars. Thanks to the Eurosport broadcast, says Conrad Brunner, marketing director for PokerStars, the number of online qualifiers has increased a great deal, and therefore the prize pool, making this years competition the most popular event organized so far.
Participants come from Europe and the United States mainly, among them there are champions from all big cities in Europe, such as London, Vienna, Dublin, or Barcelona. John Shipley, the London EUROPEAN POKER TOUR champion, won 300.000 Euros and a seat in the Grand Final. This prize makes him the biggest EUROPEAN POKER TOUR winner so far.
