Gambling Debts

A Colerain Township resident fakes a robbery to cover his gambling debts.

William A. Bartlett II, a resident of Colerain Township, simulated a robbery in his property in order to cash his insurance and face his huge gambling debts.

30-year-old Bartlett, lives at 9900 block of Arborwood Drive. He reported police officials that a man had entered his house in the early morning, and after bounding him and muzzled him with a tape, he stole all the money he had in his safe.

After a scrupulous investigation carried out by police detectives, the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office determined that Bartlett had faked the robbery. It seems that Bartlett had huge gambling debts and he faked the robbery in order to cover them. Some hours after the sheriffs report, Bartlett was arrested and he will now have to face serious charges.
