Gulfside Casino Partnership plans to build a 200 million dollars casino north of the U.S. 90.

Gulfside Casino Partnership, which formerly owned the Copa Casino destroyed by Hurricane Katrina proposed a new land based casino building in Biloxi, north of U.S. 90.

Gulfside co-owners Rick Carter and Terry Green plans to by Oasis Hotel property from its owners Harrahs Entertainment. They intend to invest over 200 million dollars in the casino building project. They also plans to purchase the Grand Casino property located south of U.S. 90.

Carter and Green now have to go back to the Biloxi Planning Commission in order to review their full plan. Before the commission, they will face another public hearing will be regarding the planned location.

In the meantime, the planning commission approved Broadwater Resort proposition to build a 1 billion dollars casino resort. Broadwater project will include two casinos in addition to a hotel and condominium on a 261-acre land.
