An illegal poker room organized in a private home in Great Falls, in Vancouver, was raided by the Police last Thursday. Among the people arrested, there was a police officer. Robert Hoffman Jr., alleged he was providing security during the poker game. However, the police charged him for gambling at an illegal establishment.
None of the players gambling at River Bend Road could expect their poker night would be ruined in such way. In all, sixty people were playing poker inside a house, and the police seized several guns and cash. The owner of the house was charged with illegal possession of weapons and illegal gambling activities.
