Virginia police raided an illegal poker game in Manassas. Richard Douglas Thomas, who allegedly organized the games, was arrested and charged with maintaining an illegal gambling operation.
On Wednesday night, police officers raided a private resident in the 9000 block of Opera Alley after being informed that an illegal poker game was being held there. Undercover police detectives participated in the poker game.
Police seized poker equipment and between 8,000 dollars and 10,000 dollars in cash from the house. The poker game dealer, Gregory Allan Campbell, was also arrested and charged with maintaining an illegal gambling operation. Both of them were released on bond. A date for court hearing was scheduled.
