The World Poker Tour is about to explode in the month of May. One could call it the May Mayhem or Crazy May, but that really doesn't make any difference. What it means is that every day starting from Monday, the Seventh of May and until Friday, the Eighteenth of May, a satellite tournament will be held at
the Mirage Casino resort in Las Vegas.
These daily world poker showdowns have different pot amounts and these differ according to the type of satellite showdown and the date on when it will be held. In general, the earlier you play, the lesser the pot. This is similar to
online casinos and poker rooms as well.
No Limit Holdem Satellite Competition
This poker variation is going to be a major part of the Crazy May Bonanza, and it will be played on the Eight of May, the Tenth of May, the Eleventh of May, the Twelfth of May, the Thirteenth of May and the Sixteenth of May. But you should note that the pots for these games differ. For the first one that will be held on the Eight of May, the pot is five hundred dollars with an addition raise of forty dollars. For the next one, that which will be held on the Tenth of May, the pot will be multiplied and will stand at a thousand dollars with an additional eighty if necessary. The one on the next day will have a pot of a thousand and five hundred but the additional sum will remain on eighty. For the Twelfth and Thirteenth, the additional amount will stand at a hundred bucks, but the pot amount will be two thousand and two thousand five hundred respectively. The last No Limit Holdem showdown will have an extra pot of only eighty dollars but the major pot will be a thousand five hundred dollars.
Limit Holdem Satellites
The Mirage Casino and Hotel resort will hold only two of these satellites and they will be on the Ninth and on the Fourteenth of May. The first one will have a buy-in of five hundred and the second will have a buy-in of a thousand dollars. The extra amount will also be likewise: forty for the first and eighty bucks for the second.
Heads UP
From the Fifteenth and until the Seventeenth of May, the Mirage will hold a special Heads Up NHl poker bash. For this event, the casino resort has raised the buy-in to five thousand dollars with an additional two hundred as extra.
Super Satellite
As part of the buildup to the World Poker Tour Final, the Mirage will hold two Super Satellites. You can get a seat for a buy-in of a one and a half thousand with an extra eighty.
The World Poker Tour Final
The main event will be held between the Nineteenth and the Twenty-Third of May. Only winners of one of the other Satellite tournaments can take part for a buy-in of Nine thousand and seven hundred dollars and an extra three hundred dollars.
